Three criminals with a criminal record have been arrested in Buenos Aires. They are accused of attempting to rob a tire depot for motorcycles. The incident occurred on the evening of March 21. The owner of the depot alerted the police, stating that security cameras had filmed two men trying to enter the premises. It was also discovered that the Edesur electrical panel had been tampered with to cut the power. Following a neighbor's tip, police officers stopped a white Audi from which two hooded men had emerged. Upon noticing the police, they attempted to flee on foot but were intercepted a few blocks away. During the operation, two cell phones were seized from inside the Audi and a third iPhone was found in the street. The three detainees are 29, 32, and 36 years old. One of them has a record for firing a firearm and causing minor injuries in 2022, while another has accusations of attempted aggravated robbery in 2019 and 2022. By judicial order, all three men were detained for attempted robbery in a populated area and as part of a group. The Audi was also seized and other standard measures were taken.
